Rustic, less commercial but ran by unfortunately, yet understandably very stressed owners. Loads of apple trees and nearby river to swim in. The on-site food was lovely but the kitchens are only open at specific times for a small amount of time. Still worthy of a high score. The plumbing is bad too. Nice open fire by the shop in the evening. Local ciders available and suggested donations to charge your electric items in the shop. Showers are 1. I'm just trying to list the answers to various questions I imagine people would be wondering.
Another gorgeous stay in Preston. Great people. Clean facilities. Tons of drinks and food options. Only minor constructive feedback would b to put a shelf in by ladies sinks. Otherwise we will c u next year. Sam, Scott and Hayden. X
Incredible spot for a 3 day camping trip. Great location, beautiful scenery. Site has a little shop stocked with basics. Fire pit hire was fab!! no electric hook up so really rustic. Kayaking on the river is a must!! Oh and so is saying hello to Ben the dog!! will be back again!!
Love it here! Very easy going as long as you're respectful to other campers regarding noise. Great family site sitting round an open fire. Access to the river is an added bonus.
Quite a nice little campsite with the river just by the side. Nice and clean shower block. And it has the possibility of doing some canoeing. The ground has a nice grass and it's quite flat.
