Best to book ahead as not a drop in museum. Helpful and knowledgeable staff will show you areas of particular interest from traditional farming machinery to Victorian clothing and ancient flint sword heads. Amazing collection relevant to local area and definitely worth a visit. Also monthly poetry groups are lovely and use historical elements at workshops for inspiration.
Absolutely marvellous! Would definitely come back! And only came across this place by accident as I do have 2 come regularly 4 the healthy lifestyle programme, so I shall find out more as its a small museum 2!and I think it should definitely have more publicity so the public would be made aware of its existence! As it's well away from the main areas of Hereford, and tucked,hidden away! And parking is sparse 2! So would park first somewhere and walk as it's only a very short walk !from the city centre. And it's disable friendly 2 . Came here last the 1st week of April 2018.
