Swinton started off very good, understanding and efficient. They cancelled my partner's insurance with no prior warning, putting him at risk of a fine. Then sending him a bill for 150 with no chance of renewing his insurance. What the bill is for is anyone's guess!
Since some very difficult years with unreliable and in one case, thoroughly disreputable online insurers I called into what was then my local, Swinton branch in Hereford. They could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or friendly. That remains so today; five years later and despite me living now, over a hundred miles away. They always send me plenty of warning of my insurance renewal date. My policy cost, year on year has fallen, without the need of having to threaten to go elsewhere; rare these days.Fortunately, I haven't had to make a claim so can't comment on their performance in that area but if past experience is anything to go by, I have little doubt it would be good. I would thoroughly recommend this company.
