Very friendly staff. Great service, would definitely recommend and use them again.
You get A Star, because I physically can't give you no stars.I needed the bonnet and front wings of my car replaced, after an accident on March 5th, I e-mailed pictures of the damage to IRG to look at. 10 Days later I took the vehicle in and signed the form to receive my courtesy car. Having had the courtesy car for 2 days I received a call from enterprise telling me that I had the car for 5 days only. I rang IRG and asked when they thought the car would be ready, I was told that the parts weren't in and wouldn't be for some time. I accept that the parts delay isn't down to the garage, but why did I leave the car if there was a limit on the courtesy car and many weeks delay on the parts? When I picked my car back up, the bonnet did not close properly, a mechanic was called and proceeded to slam the bonnet shut for me. The car was deemed roadworthy by the Garage and I took it home again.Around a week later I rang IRG and told them that the bonnet did not now open at all, they suggested I came back in, which I did, and I thought no more of it. I continued to use the car whilst waiting for the parts to come in.Finally, around the middle of May, I received a call saying the parts were in and it was arranged to go in at the beginning of June, a 5 day job, according to them. Before I could get the car to them, the Tax was due and the first MOT. It promptly failed the MOT as the headlights were out of alignment. IRG told me the car was safe and roadworthy, I had been driving it, including at night for more than 6 weeks. I left the car at the MOT test station and called IRG to try and get the repair date moved forward. I spoke to Dan at 1 o'clock and was told he would ring me back at 1.30. Well, 1.30 came and went and no call, 2 came and went and no call. I rang back and got no answer. I rang my insurers and was told by them that they would call IRG themselves to sort this out. They had no success either, being told that they would be called back or getting no answer at all. Eventually, Admiral told me that we would have a conference call with me, IRG and themselves on the phone the next day at midday. The next day came and around 12.45 the phone rang. Admiral saying that they couldn't get hold of IRG to get them in the call. I told Admiral that this was absolutely unacceptable, and left it with them to organize a solution. The solution was to be that IRG would collect the car and drop off my courtesy car the next day on their way back through. This is what I was told would happen by Dan (The Manager...Apparently). Before they arrived the next day I got another call from someone else at IRG telling me that I needed to go collect my car and bring it home, and they would come and get it, completely contrary to my previous conversation. I point blank refused as my car wasn't road legal and as confirmed by my insurers I had been put back into an uninsured car for the month and a half until the parts arrived. When I spoke to Dan about this he told me that "In my opinion the car was road legal, and it should be fine." If the police had stopped me though I would NOT have been insured. After that exchange my car was taken away to be fixed AGAIN. 5 days later they delivered it back to the other garage that had checked the MOT, and picked up their courtesy car. Edit: I have been in touch with Chris from IRG who has worked very hard to address the problems I have had, and has tried very hard to make this a better situation moving forward. While it doesn't fix the situation, it is appreciated.
Absolutely unbelievable service. Had to chase them several times because of little tiny scratch on my car which could be fixed within few hours-day. It has been over a month now and still nothing solved. Sent them pictures 3x,nobody was bothered to reply. After a month finally one of the ladies started to deal with my claim and processed the estimation of work needed. Now waiting for authorisation from insurer and it can take another two weeks to actually get my car fixed since they are assuming it could take another week to get the authorisation. This is just unbelievable. I had worse accident a year ago and it was all sorted within few weeks. This little scratch takes ridiculous amount of time to solve. Poor communication, poor service. Will definitely avoid them next time.
Apart from an initial mix up in getting the quote to my insurance Company everything went smoothly. The staff were great and they treated me very well.I would definitely use IRG again and have recommend them throughout the Heineken workforce. Well done.
