Very nice and comfy surroundings. Although we didn't eat the food looked very good and the prices were good as well. Good selection of drinks as well.

A lovely setting, both the cosy indoors and the fireplaces outside. I had a perfectly cooked English breakfast with quality coffee. I've never liked black pudding until now, but I may just have been converted!
Good atmosphere and nice to sit out by the fire but sadly that is as good as my visit got. Personally I feel the service is very poor and very much needs to be improved upon. Took aver twenty minutes to get two drinks as well as going to find out what was the delay. on top of this sad to say that once said drinks were received they were no longer HOT but just warm. I and my family have no intention of returning after such poor service, it is inexcusable.
Good selection of teas and beers. Mostly an outdoor space, with plenty of room to sit indoors. Fires outside to keep warm. Often there's live music. Near the river. A lovely place to go.
