Brilliant place to have a drink. Great atmosphere, the patrons and staff are always friendly and up for a chat. An all round great pub!
My local .. please stay away, as getting to the bar gets hard when there are a load of people .. good mix of ages from moody old buggers who talk about the youth of today always being on their phones and not talking to each other... and the group's of youths on their phones not talking....
I often enjoy going down to the barrels on a Friday evening with my friends from college. There is a lively atmosphere and very friendly staff! You can probably get most drinks under the sun in there! There's table football and pool like all good pubs should have. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Hereford, it's the preferred watering hole of all the local blacksmithing students.
Friendly, bustling no frills pub. Really good selection of real ales. Choice of several bars and large outside area if you fancy spilling out from the atmosphere fuelled bars. Often a great place for beer festivals and live music.
